        Obsidian-Studios, Inc. provides managed hosting services for clients outsourcing application, database, email, web, and/or other hosting services. We offer hosting services to our clients that lack their own systems administrators, networks, and/or servers. We do not offer our hosting services to the general public. We only provide hosting services for applications, databases, software, and web sites developed by Obsidian-Studios, Inc. We provide a affordable, reliable, stable, secure, managed environment to host the most sensitive and demanding business applications and services.     Obsidian-Studios, Inc. utilizes a variety of dedicated physical and virtual servers running Gentoo Linux. We distribute each service or service group in its own Xen virtual machine. With Xen virtual machines running on a variety of dedicated physical Xen host machines. In the event any Xen host node goes down or is being serviced any virtual machines and their services are migrated and/or started on another Xen host node. This architecture and network design allows each service to perform with out interruption or interference from other services, existing and operating in it's own sandbox. Services include but are not limited to Apache, ASSP, BIND, Courier, Ezmlm-idx, Firebird, Monetra, Qmail, and Tomcat.     Obsidian-Studios, Inc. does not outsource hardware or personnel. We own and operate two private networks, development and production. With all equipment administrated, fully controlled, and solely owned by Obsidian-Studios, Inc. Our networks, servers, and applications are monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. During that time software such as but not limited to Nagios, rrdtool, terrd, and others; combined with human staff are constantly monitoring client's email, database, web site, and other hosted services and applications to ensure they function as intended without interruption.     Obsidian-Studios, Inc. has partnered with the leading data center solutions provider in the South East, Peak 10, Inc. as our facilities provider. Peak 10 provides Obsidian-Studios, Inc. production network and servers with bandwidth, cooling, electricity, fire protection, IP address blocks, locked rack enclosure, and physical monitored security. For over two years Peak 10 has been home to Obsidian-Studios, Inc. production public network and servers with impeccable service, reliability, and uptime.
